A full digital redesign of Sainsbury’s is underway. My role was crucial at the beginning of the Digital Experience team in-house at Sainsbury’s as the first employee of the brand new team.
Bringing together the content, buying, trading, technology, development and user experience team to prepare for a design over haul and future vision helped me to achieve what my vision for a new digital Sainsbury’s brand should be for their loyal customers.
Launched in October 2015, the first phase towards a fully responsive groceries experience launched for Sainsbury’s – giving customers a taste of what’s to come.
Using the same UI toolkits and style guides made for the Groceries redesign, the rest of the Sainsbury’s online estates will follow suit.
